Hi Everyone, It is rare that someone you didn't know even existed comes from out of nowhere and gives you very valuable help. Well, Silverman is one of those people. When we first talked I was hesitant to open up completely to him because I have had a number of replies to my plea for help that were trying to pull the worn out Nigerian Scam where they will send me $2500 if I will return $2000 when I get the check....go to ClarkHoward.com if you don't know about this scam....I also have a guy that is laying in a hospital dying and can't wait to give me his money....haven't seen any of it yet! Hi Silverman and all, Thanks for the questions. First the name of the company I want to work with is: http://arise.com It was featured on Good Morning America along with several other companies. I have looked into all of them and Arise cost the most to start up with but the flexibility and pay appealed best to me. As far as Social Security....I kept thinking I would go back to work after being approved for disability. I belonged to a group health ins. policy and didn't elect Part B of Medicare until my group policy booted me out and put me on COBRA. So I then had to get Part B but I also had to pay a penalty for late enrollment. My Part B now cost me about $135.00 per month. I also had to get a supplemental policy with AA RP which is about $285 per month. I have looked at the "Fee For Service" plans now offered but because of ongoing testing and such this plan is simply not feasible for me. Now as for Medicade and Medicare Assistance I draw $400 PER YEAR too much to qualify. They do not take into account that I am paying about $415 monthly just in insurance and that doesn't include Plan D for meds which in July or August I will reach "The Donut Hole" and have to pat about $3700 out of pocket before the plan will start paying again for meds. I have been through the system with a fine tooth comb looking for assistance but no luck. I was going thru Medicares "Ticket To Work" when they finally found the cancer and that ended that. You did not insinuate by any means I was just looking for "FREE" money but I want everyone to know that my story and need is real. I have worked ever since I was tall enough to push a lawn mower to earn money and it is really depressing for me to have to resort to asking for donations....but I have to do something to get going again. Cancer Victim Needs Help Starting Over

Pancreatitic Cancer has taken almost everything I ever had. I AM NOT A QUIETER and with equipment I have received I am about ready to begin working again.

It isn't easy forcing yourself when you are in pain 24/7 to be independent but I am beginning to do it but I still need help with 1 thing.

I need transportation desperately so I can work. I have an old work van I can sell for about $500 but it needs $1000 of work to pass inspection as now the steering went out on me. Even if it was working the MPG is only about 7 miles per gallon and because of the cost of gas it costs me over $10 just to go to my doctor 12 miles away once a week.

I will not ask for any dollar amount, just what anyone can spare so I can sell the van and get something that is dependable and cheap on gas. So please help me get transportation so I can be independent and work. There is no public transportation where I live and I have made it this far and with your help I WILL SUCCEED.
